Hello everyone- I have been away from my blog for a while and I would like to share with you the reason why. Brian and I are proud new parents of a baby girl. Her name is Kaitlyn and we couldn't be happier. Okay we could be if she would just start sleeping a little more through the night but in all honesty our world has been turned upside down- in a good way. I have reduced the number of shows that I will be participating in but I hope you can still make it out to see me if you are in the area. I can still be found over at Balleycanoe & co., every Thursday, friday and every other saturday, stocking up on salvage materials and visiting the workshop. It's a wonderful place to go for inspiration!

Old Farm House



This diorama is a departure from my usual style. The starting point to the picture was the opportunity to use an old crackled tin roof shingle and to cut it to scale. The other elements are bits of broken gingerbread trim. The trim and gingerbread are in their original paint.
